AI training for women and young girls organized by state womens commission in private hotel

At a time when global super-giants fo Artificial Intelligence (AI) like Sam Altman, Elon Musk and Dario Amodeia have warned people across the world of fully developed AI as a potential destroyer of entire humanity, the interest in the subject seems to be growing fast in India as well as in Tripura. This was evident today as the state womens commission in collaboration with the national womens commission today organized a seminar and workshop to create awareness among women about the rich potential of AI in human welfare.

The seminar and workshop was titled ‘Awareness cum Training Programme on Yashoda AI’ and organized in a private hotel of Agartala town. A number of female experts on the subject had been invited to deliver speeches and provide practical demonstration of the AI working model and how it can contribute to the growth and development of society , specially the women folk. The programme was presided over by the chairperson of the state womens commission Jharna Debbarma.

Sources in the womens commission said that the speakers in the programme had tried to raise the awareness level among the female participants about how AI can work for the welfare of society and even family and lead to upgradation of living standards of the people , specially women. AI is the latest addition to the tremendous technological growth achieved by humanity over the past three years and it will break new grounds further . The participants were also allowed to raise various questions of interest and the AI experts who had come mostly from outside the state provided cogent replies to the queries raised.
