TIOA Unanimously Elects New Executive Committee for 2026-2031, 10th Foundation Day to Focus on Industry and Social Responsibility

The General Election of the Tripura Industry Owners Association (TIOA) for the Executive Committee for the 2026–2031 term was successfully concluded on Sunday in a free, fair, transparent and peaceful manner, with the entire panel being unanimously elected without the need for polling.
According to the association, only one valid panel nomination was received within the prescribed period. Following scrutiny, the nomination was found to be valid and in accordance with the applicable election rules and procedures. As there was no contesting panel, the nominated members were declared unanimously elected for the five-year term.
Vishal Singh Solanki of Tripura Ispat has been elected President of TIOA, while Ruchir Jain of Rotomec Industries has been elected Vice President. Prangopal Saha of Prandeep Industries will serve as the General Secretary.
The new office-bearers include Anjanava Majumdar of Pran Beverages India Pvt. Ltd. as Joint Secretary-1, Josy Joseph Kalathoor of Palapilli Techno Rubbers as Joint Secretary-2 and Sandeep Saha of Evergrowing Iron & Finvest Pvt. Ltd. as Treasurer.
The Executive Members are Rabin Bose of Mutha Industries Pvt. Ltd, Kirtan Chandra Jena of Dharmpal Satyapal Ltd, Sanjib Singha Ray of Mrinal Sanjib (Stone Crusher), Nirmal Singhi of Brite Rubber Processor Pvt. Ltd, Shubraneel Pal of Bhagabwati Udyog, Vinayak Agarwal of North East Veneers & Plywood LLP, and Suman Saha of My Choice Ex-Books Industries.
The Election Officer formally declared the results at 4:00 PM on August 23, 2026.
The newly elected committee has expressed its commitment to work collectively for the growth, development and welfare of Tripura’s industrial sector while strengthening TIOA as a representative platform for industries operating across the state.
The new leadership is expected to work towards promoting a business-friendly industrial environment, raising and addressing issues faced by industrial units and maintaining constructive engagement with the Government and other stakeholders for strengthening Tripura’s industrial ecosystem.
TIOA to Celebrate 10th Foundation Day on September 2
Following the successful conclusion of the election, TIOA is now preparing for another significant occasion, the 10th Foundation Day celebration of the association on September 2, 2026, at the TIOA office in Bodhjungnagar, Agartala.
The Foundation Day programme will also provide an opportunity for the formal introduction of the newly elected Executive Committee before industry representatives, government officials, dignitaries and members of the wider community.
However, the celebration is being planned not merely as an institutional anniversary programme. According to TIOA, the 10th Foundation Day will place considerable emphasis on social responsibility, community welfare and giving back to society.
As part of the celebrations, TIOA plans to organise a Mega Health Check-up and Eye Check-up Camp, aimed at extending healthcare support to members of the community. The association will also felicitate meritorious students among the children of industrial workers, recognising academic achievement and encouraging young people from the industrial workforce community to pursue excellence in education.
A Tree Plantation Programme will also form part of the Foundation Day initiatives, underlining the industrial fraternity’s commitment towards environmental protection and a greener Tripura.
The programme is expected to be attended by Ministers of the Government of Tripura, distinguished dignitaries, senior government officials, members of the media fraternity and industry owners from different parts of the state.
