A crucial session of the Tripura Legislative Assembly is scheduled to begin on August 27, with the House set to meet on August 27, 28 and 31. Preparations for the three-day session were reviewed at an important meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) held at the Conference Hall of the Tripura Legislative Assembly on Friday.
The BAC meeting was attended by the Speaker of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, the Deputy Speaker and other honourable members. The meeting discussed in detail various aspects of the forthcoming session, including the proposed business of the House, the schedule of proceedings and the time to be allotted for different legislative and other Assembly-related activities.

The upcoming session is expected to provide an important platform for deliberations on issues concerning the overall development of Tripura, public welfare, governance and the future progress of the state. Members are likely to raise issues of significance to their respective constituencies as well as broader matters affecting the people of Tripura.
