Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Parade: 15th Bn. TSR Secures 1st Position in Guwahati Parade, Bringing Pride to Tripura

The Tripura Police has achieved another proud distinction on the occasion of the country’s 80th Independence Day, with the parade contingent of the 15th Battalion Tripura State Rifles (TSR) securing first position in the Parade Demonstration held at Khanapara, Guwahati, Assam.

The achievement came as part of the state-to-state parade contingent exchange programme under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative, organised to mark Independence Day 2026 and strengthen the spirit of national integration through cultural and institutional exchanges among different states.

The 15th Battalion TSR contingent impressed the organisers and spectators with its discipline, precision, coordination and team spirit, ultimately emerging at the top of the parade demonstration.

The accomplishment is being seen as a significant recognition of the professionalism, training and dedication of the Tripura State Rifles personnel. The performance also showcased the high standards maintained by Tripura's security forces in ceremonial and operational discipline.
