Bangladesh : two Hindu women gang-raped by faithful dacoits on passenger bus on Dhaka-Rajshahi road, no arrest so far

Yunus led Bangladesh is steadily sliding into the slough similar to what is visible and voluble in lawless waste-lands like Somalia, Darfur or Syria. But the special feature of the Bangladeshi hellscape is the malignant mindset of the faithful and the ceaseless persecution of minority Hindus and Buddhists in one form or the other.

In the latest outrage two married Hindu women were gang-raped by a gang of faithful brutes masquerading as dacoits on a passenger bus named ‘Amri Travels’ operated by ‘Unique Road Royals’ on the Dhaka-Rajshahi road in the early hours of last Tuesday, that is on February 18. After the bus had reached Natore area under Baraigram police station a gang of dacoits had stopped and boarded the bus and robbed all the passengers including fellow-faithful but picked on two married Hindu women for carnal pleasure by rape. Having driven the male passengers including the husbands of the two women hapless women, the brutes took the women by force to the rear side of the bus and raped both of them. The fear and frustration of the husbands got merely worsened by the shrieks and screams of the women who were ravaged by the bestial creatures.

A complaint had been later lodged with the Baraigram police station after a tussle with Mirzapur police station over jurisdiction but the faithful police merely detained the driver and his assistant for a few hours for interrogation and then let them go . The women who had informed the police of the torment they had been subjected to had to go back without getting even a verbal assurance of positive action. However, the malleable and faithful media of Bangladesh has been maintaining a studied silence over the issue even though a few outlets presented the news online or offline in a sufficiently mild manner, not to provoke the wrath of fundamentalist dispensation of Yunus.
