BJP Holds High-Level Organisational Meeting in New Delhi, Focuses on Tripura's Upcoming Civic and Village Committee Elections

In a significant organisational exercise ahead of the upcoming Municipal Council and Village Committee elections in Tripura, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a high-level core committee meeting at the party's national headquarters in New Delhi on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by BJP National President Nitin Nabin, National General Secretary (Organisation) BL Santosh, BJP's North East Coordinator and Member of Parliament Dr. Sambit Patra, and BJP Tripura State In-charge Dr. Rajdeep Roy.
Among the prominent Tripura leaders present were Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, State BJP President Abhishek Debroy, former Chief Minister and Member of Parliament Biplab Kumar Deb, former MP Rebati Tripura, present MP Rajya Sabha Rajib Bhattacharjee along with members of the BJP Tripura Core Committee Pratima Bhoumik, Amit Rakshit, Rampada Jamatia, Ratan Lal Nath, Bipin Debbarma, Bagaban Das, Bikash Debbarma and other senior party functionaries.
The organisational meeting primarily reviewed the party's preparedness for the forthcoming Municipal Council and Village Committee elections in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC). Leaders deliberated on strategies to further strengthen the party's organisational structure at the grassroots level and ensure effective coordination among party workers.
According to party leaders, the discussions also centred on future organisational planning and elections aliens with TIPRAMotha, expansion of public welfare initiatives, and enhancing outreach to ensure that the development programmes and achievements of the BJP-led governments reach every section of society more effectively.
The meeting emphasised the importance of building a more disciplined, dynamic, and people-oriented organisation while reaffirming the party's commitment to its ideological principles and its pledge to work tirelessly for public welfare and the overall development of Tripura. One
Senior leader described the deliberations as constructive and forward-looking, stating that such periodic organisational meetings play a crucial role in strengthening the party, improving coordination among its leadership, and preparing the organisation for upcoming electoral challenges. The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to intensify grassroots engagement and reinforce the BJP's organisational network across Tripura in the run-up to the local body elections.
