Brahma Kumaris Launches Nationwide ‘10 Crore Nasha Mukti Pratigya Maha Abhiyan 2026’, Invites Institutions to Join Anti-Addiction Campaign

The Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya has invited educational institutions and organizations across the country to participate in the "10 Crore Nasha Mukti Pratigya Maha Abhiyan 2026", a nationwide awareness and oath campaign aimed at promoting an addiction-free India.

According to an official invitation issued by the Brahma Kumaris Agartala Centre, the campaign will be conducted from August 6 to August 20, 2026, as part of the national Nasha Mukta Bharat Abhiyan. The initiative coincides with International Youth Day and India's Independence Day, emphasizing the importance of empowering young people to lead healthy, value-based lives free from substance abuse.

The organization stated that the Medical Wing of Brahma Kumaris has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, under the Nasha Mukta Bharat Abhiyan, and has been actively conducting addiction awareness programmes across the country.

As part of the campaign, Brahma Kumaris has approached institutions, including Tripurainfo at Lichubagan, requesting them to host a brief Awareness and Oath Programme for students, faculty members and staff during the campaign period.

The proposed programme will include:

Awareness sessions on addiction prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.

A National Oath for an Addiction-Free India.

Participation certificates from the Brahma Kumaris Medical Wing for the participating institution.

The organization has requested institutions to provide a convenient date between August 6 and August 20, 2026, for conducting the programme. It has also clarified that the initiative will be completely free of cost.

In the invitation, the Brahma Kumaris emphasized that the campaign is dedicated to inspiring youth, strengthening character, promoting mental well-being, and fostering social transformation. The campaign is also being organized as a tribute to the ideals of service and nation-building exemplified by the former Chief of Brahma Kumaris, Dadi Prakashmani Ji.

The organization expressed hope that educational institutions and community organizations would extend their support to make the nationwide anti-addiction campaign a success and contribute towards building a healthier and addiction-free society.
