Hindus or any religious community believing in polytheism in ‘Momin’ lands across the world are legitimate targets of believers for homicide, massacre, genocide , rape and all other bestial forms of crimes by divine sanction. For such gory acts of bestialities the faithful can access material prosperity in this world and posthumous rehabilitation in an illusory world of lurid earthly pleasures . Needless to say, the Hindus in Bangladesh , original indigenous people in the country till the 12th century before the arrival of the ‘only true faith’, are continually subjected to these gory crimes in the hands of the ‘Momins’ on a day-to-day basis without any judicial or administrative redress.
But nevertheless the law-abiding and peaceful Hindu community have been contributing to the growth of the country in all sectors they are allowed in. A recent heartening example in this regard has come to the fore in the Chudanga district in the hell-scape called Bangladesh in the form of pristine honesty and integrity of a Hindu female officer of the administration.
Tithi Mitra (33) , executive officer of the Chuadanga Sadar sub-district, had been sanctioned a fund of Taka 51,53,955 for having a canal dug from the sprawling Makhaldanga natural lake up to the Chitra river. She had got the work executed at a cost of Taka 31,82,01 and refunded to the treasury of the sanctioning authority Taka 19,71,994 . This has aroused spontaneous admiration among the people , mostly belonging to the ‘Momin’ class and administrative high-ups for her honesty and integrity but Tithi Mitra remains unmoved , considering it her duty. In a country which is synonymous with unbridled corruption Tithi Mitra’s honesty and integrity have now become a byword for honesty and financial integrity, though this is hardly likely to impact the poisoned mindset of the ‘Momins’ to the larger Hindu community.
