Serious allegations of a question paper leak and large-scale irregularities have surfaced over the written examination conducted for the recruitment of 126 Community Health Officer (CHO) posts under the National Health Mission (NHM), Tripura, with candidates demanding an independent judicial or high-level inquiry into the entire recruitment process.

The recruitment examination, conducted by the Society for Entrepreneurship Development (SoFED) under Recruitment Notification No. 01/2025-26, has come under intense scrutiny after a section of aspirants claimed that the question paper had allegedly reached certain candidates before the examination.

Following the publication of the written examination marks, dissatisfaction among candidates intensified. Many aspirants have pointed to what they describe as highly unusual scoring patterns in the result sheet, alleging that the marks raise serious questions about the transparency and credibility of the recruitment process.

According to the aggrieved candidates, nearly 201 candidates secured more than 80 marks out of 100, while around 19 candidates obtained exactly 97.75 marks. Several others reportedly scored 98.00, 95.50, 93.25, 91.50, and 91.00 marks, leading candidates to question whether such a concentration of exceptionally high and identical scores is statistically plausible in a competitive recruitment examination.

Candidates have argued that these patterns warrant an impartial investigation to determine whether the evaluation process was conducted fairly and whether the examination remained secure throughout the recruitment process.

They have urged the authorities to immediately

Publish the official answer key.

Release individual OMR sheets or response sheets to candidates.

Conduct an independent audit of the evaluation methodology.
