Netaji’s name not being removed from hospital: CM

Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Saturday clarified that the name of Tripura State Homeopathic Hospital is not being changed as suggested in some media reports. According to Dr Saha, while the name of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose shall remain attached with the hospital, the Homeopathic College which is being set up in the same institution was being named as Tripura State Homeopathic Hospital.

“The officials had been directed to do the needful. The name of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is not being removed. The matter is Netaji’s name shall remain attached with the hospital while the medical college will be named as Tripura State Homeopathic Medical College. In the same way, IGM hospital exists with the Agartala Government Dental College in the same complex,” the Chief Minister explained.
