Seva Dal leader trains guns on BJP

Chief Organiser of Congress Seva on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its style of governance.

Speaking to the media persons, Desai stated that the “Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan” movement had gained momentum across the country. “The call from the Congress leadership resonated across the country because people realised that policies of BJP stand against the values of democracy and social justice for which Dr BR Ambedkar fought all his life. The objectionable comment passed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in parliament exposed RSS and BJP’s views on Ambedkar,” said Desai.

Firing salvos on the BJP-led central government, he alleged that “it is a day of heist for the robbers in the country” and that the government was working overtime to protect the perpetrators. He also blamed the Centre for failing to handle the Manipur crisis.

Training his guns on the Tripura BJP, Desai said, “The state is being run by a gang of goons. Issues like employment are being ignored. Social justice and welfare is absent and the poor have been left in their sufferings.”

It should be noted here that Congress Party has announced a political rally Udaipur, the district headquarters of Gomati District where Desai will join as a speaker.
