BJP Tripura Announces New State Office-Bearers and Morcha Presidents, Abhishek Debroy Unveils Organisational Team

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Tripura Pradesh, has announced a major organisational restructuring with the appointment of a new team of state office-bearers and Morcha presidents. The appointments were announced by BJP Tripura State President Abhishek Debroy following the approval of the party's National President Nitin Nabin and consultations with the national leadership.

According to the official notification, the appointments come into effect immediately and are aimed at strengthening the party's organisational structure across the state ahead of future political and organisational activities.

The newly constituted team includes six State Vice-Presidents:

Tapas Bhattacharya

Amit Rakshit

Ratan Ghosh

Uttara Debbarma

Tapas Majumder

Ajanta Bhattacharjee.

The party has also appointed three General Secretaries:

Bhagaban Chandra Das

Bipin Debbarma

Chandan Debnath.

Six leaders have been named as State Secretaries:

Bhumika Nanda Reang

Kamal Dey

Nabadal Banik

Mimi Majumder

Malina Debnath

Rathindra Jamatia.

Nagadhiraj Datta has been appointed as the State Treasurer, while MK Nath will serve as Joint Treasurer.

Mihir Sarkar has been entrusted with the responsibility of Office Secretary.

In a parallel announcement, BJP Tripura also appointed the presidents of its various frontal organisations (Morchas). The appointments include:

Arindam Deb – State President, Yuva Morcha

Mousumi Das – State President, Mahila Morcha

Abhijit Debbarma – State President, ST Morcha

Bapi Das – State President, SC Morcha

Sukanta Ghosh – State President, OBC Morcha

Pradip Baran Roy – State President, Kishan Morcha

Md. Billal Mia – State President, Minority Morcha

The notification states that the appointments have been made to further strengthen the party's grassroots network and ensure effective coordination between the state leadership and various organisational wings.

Political observers believe the revamped organisational structure reflects the BJP's strategy to enhance its outreach among youth, women, farmers, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and minority communities while consolidating the party's base across Tripura.
