The ousted Bangladeshi prime minister Sheikh Hasina, currently on forced exile in India, has vowed to return to her country soon and restore the rule of law and constitution. Describing the chief advisor to the interim Bangladesh regime as a ‘mobster’ , Hasina as many as 450 police stations across Bangladesh were burnt down in July and August last year and the killings of policemen in them were part of a large conspiracy to destabilize the country, orchestrated by Yunus and his fundamentalist accomplices. She also accused Yunus of having unleashed blood-thirsty terrorists on the innocent people across the country.

Hasina was speaking one-on-one with widows of four policemen killed by the fundamentalist mob in July and August last year on Zoom and comforted the four hapless widows that she will soon return to the country to restore democracy , rule of law and constitution. “The killings and lawlessness were party of a well-crafted conspiracy of Yunus to oust an elected government and capture power through backdoor; the country is now a hell of anarchy but rest assured that I will come soon to give you justice and wipe off the tears in your eyes” said Hasina to the bereaved widows.

Meanwhile, the increasingly unpopular interim government of Bangladesh has rubbished the charges brought against them by Hasina in her Zoom address to the four widows . “She is free to say anything from her hide-out but our efforts to secure her extradition from India to face the court here shall continue; even the united nations high commission for human rights in a report have found her culpability in violation of basic human rights of people; the country is now peaceful and awaiting a free and fair election which never happened during her tenure” said Shafiqul Alam, press secretary to the chief advisor of the interim government , Md Yunus.
