The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Meteorological Centre, Agartala, has issued a fresh weather bulletin warning of heavy rainfall and thunderstorms across parts of Tripura over the next three days, with West, Sepahijala, Gomati, and South districts expected to bear the brunt of the adverse weather.

According to the Evening Weather Bulletin issued at 7:30 PM on July 14, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at many places across all eight districts from July 15 to July 21. However, heavy rainfall ranging between 7 cm and 11 cm is very likely at one or two places in West, Sepahijala, Gomati, and South Tripura during the first three days of the forecast period. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are also expected during the initial two days.

The IMD's graphical warning indicates that the weather conditions are expected to improve after July 17, with no major warnings issued for the remaining forecast period despite continued chances of light to moderate rainfall.
