CM Dr. Manik Saha Launches and Lays Foundation Stones for 11 Development Projects Worth Rs. 105 Crore in Gomati District

Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on Tuesday virtually inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 11 development projects worth nearly Rs. 105 crore in Gomati district, describing the initiative as the beginning of a new chapter in the district's journey towards a "Viksit Tripura" (Developed Tripura).

The programme was held at Rajarshi Kalakshetra in Udaipur in the presence of BJP Tripura President and MLA Abhishek Debroy, Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Minister Tinku Roy, public representatives, senior government officials, and other dignitaries.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the projects span key sectors including education, healthcare, sports, road connectivity, and administrative infrastructure, reflecting the government's commitment to creating modern facilities and improving the quality of life for the people of Gomati district.

He stated that each of the 11 projects would accelerate the district's development, create new opportunities, and ensure that the benefits of development reach every citizen. Dr. Saha reaffirmed that the state government would continue its development journey under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with the objective of building a prosperous, self-reliant, and developed Tripura.

The Chief Minister also launched the second phase of the "Mukhyamantri Niramay Arogya Abhiyan" from Gomati district, introducing the Niramay Lab Network and the Stop Diarrhoea Campaign. The initiative aims to provide better preventive healthcare services and ensure a healthier and safer life for citizens aged 30 years and above across the state.

Highlighting the government's focus on strengthening public healthcare, Dr. Saha reiterated its commitment to modernising all government hospitals in Tripura.

As part of this vision, he laid the foundation stone for the new Tripurasundari Sub-Divisional Hospital at Udaipur, which is expected to significantly enhance healthcare infrastructure and improve access to quality medical services for residents of Gomati district and adjoining areas.

The Chief Minister said the newly inaugurated and proposed projects would strengthen public infrastructure, improve essential services, and contribute to balanced regional development. He expressed confidence that the investments would play a crucial role in transforming Gomati district into a major growth centre while supporting the broader vision of a developed and self-reliant Tripura.
