Tripura Secures 39 MoUs Worth Rs.1,374 Crore in Skill Development, IT, AI and Emerging Technologies at Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026

The Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026 has delivered another significant boost to the state's investment ambitions, with the Skill Development Department emerging as one of the major contributors by signing 39 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) involving a proposed investment of Rs.1,374 crore.
The agreements reflect strong investor confidence in Tripura's growing potential as a hub for skill development, information technology (IT & ITeS), artificial intelligence (AI), tourism and hospitality, healthcare, higher education, drone technology, electric vehicles (EVs), and solar energy.
The MoUs were signed with leading companies, educational institutions, technology firms, and skill development organizations from across the country. The partnerships aim to strengthen industry-oriented education, create employment opportunities, develop future-ready human resources, and promote innovation-driven economic growth in the state.
Among the largest investment commitments, 3D Innovate & Kensri Foundation proposed an investment of Rs.350 crore to establish skill development initiatives in the healthcare sector. Medic Tech Pvt. Ltd. followed with a commitment of Rs.226.50 crore for skill development in the IT and ITeS sectors.
The Research and Gyan for Noble Upliftment Trust proposed an investment of Rs.200 crore for skill development programmes and the establishment of an Open University. RKDG Business Solutions LLP committed Rs.100 crore towards setting up university and industry-driven skilling initiatives, while T-Web Exponent Services Pvt. Ltd. also pledged Rs.100 crore for employment-oriented IT and ITeS skill development.
Other notable investments include Insysky Softech Pvt. Ltd., which proposed Rs.60 crore for future technology skill education, and Polygon Geospatial Pvt. Ltd., which committed Rs.50 crore to establish a drone manufacturing and GIS facility in Tripura.
ARC Test House and Consultants LLP signed an MoU worth Rs.41.50 crore to develop an integrated construction sector training and skill centre. Brainrecoding Edutech Pvt. Ltd. proposed Rs.30 crore for AI education and skill development, while Rojgaar Co. (Wagify Solutions LLP) committed Rs.25 crore to establish a National Skill Development Centre with AI-based employment solutions.
Officials said these partnerships are expected to significantly enhance Tripura's skill ecosystem by aligning education and training with industry requirements, improving employability, attracting technology-driven enterprises, and generating new employment opportunities for the state's youth.
The MoUs also complement the state's broader vision of transforming Tripura into a regional destination for advanced skill development, digital innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging technology sectors. The investments are expected to play a crucial role in supporting the state's long-term economic growth while creating a skilled workforce capable of meeting the demands of future industries.
With 39 MoUs worth Rs.1,374 crore, the Skill Development sector has emerged as one of the key pillars of the Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026, underscoring the state's commitment to building a knowledge-based economy and positioning Tripura as a leading skill and technology hub in Northeast India.
