According to him, such simulations provide law students with an effective platform to develop advocacy skills, conduct legal research, prepare case briefs, and engage in courtroom-style proceedings before panels of judges.

He noted that the competition enables participants to present legal arguments, respond to judicial queries, and gain firsthand experience of the complexities and dynamics of judicial proceedings, thereby strengthening their professional competence and confidence.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Justice Subhasis Talapatra shared valuable insights from his own distinguished legal career, which began as a practicing advocate and culminated in serving as the Chief Justice of a High Court. He underscored the importance of continuous learning, analytical thinking, effective communication, and unwavering professional ethics in the legal profession. He encouraged aspiring lawyers to cultivate these qualities while maintaining integrity and dedication throughout their careers.

Justice Talapatra further emphasized that legal advocacy is not merely about arguing cases but about upholding justice, constitutional values, and the rule of law. He urged students to approach the profession with commitment, discipline, and a sense of responsibility towards society.

Speaking on behalf of the organizing committee, Dr. Raghunath Chakraborty expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, judges, participants, faculty members, students, and stakeholders for their support and cooperation in making the event a grand success.
