CM inaugurates projects worth Rs 26.95 crores in Kamalpur

The chief minister Dr Manik Saha today inaugurated multiple projects worth Rs 26.95 crores in a programme held in the Halahali ‘Vidyajyoti’ school at Halahali area under Kamalpur subdivision. The entire projects aim to improve the education system including schooling , road infrastructure , public health system in the Kamalpur subdivision. He inaugurated the newly constructed school building at Halahali in presence of many students , guardians and people of the locality. Apart from this, the package announced by the chief minister will also improve the road transport and communication system in the subdivision which lies in a peripheral area of the state in Dhalai district.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion the chief minister said that the BJP led state government has been trying relentlessly to upgrade the infrastructure of the state and improve the lives of people . “We have been working under the inspiration of our beloved prime minister Shri Narendra Modiji ; his vision is that Tripura should be a leading state in the country in terms of development and higher living standards of people ; many things have already been done but many more things will be done” the chief minister said.

He also referred to the remarkable improvement in the health infrastructure of the state , stating that already Tripura has three functional medical colleges and a dental college even as preparation is on to have another medical college in south Tripura district. He also said that a separate homeopathy and Ayurvedic colleges will also be set up. “The people of the state will no longer need to go outside the state at heavy expenses for medical treatment; we will ensure this; the road and rail infrastructure of the state have also undergone major development but more is being done; we are trying to make the state self-reliant in all respects” said Dr Saha. He called upon the people to share in the ongoing development works in the interest of the state as well as in their own interest.
