Bangladeshi ‘Momins’ continue to bask in the glory of anti-Hindu violence, man attacked for extortion , another stabbed to death

Inspired by divine (profane ?) injunctions ordaining perfidious activities against non-believers as acts of piety, the Bangladeshi ‘Momins’continue to selectively target the minuscule minority Hindu men and women for perpetrating the goriest forms of crimes. This has been the standard practice of ‘Momin’ society since long past and even during the rule of the ousted ‘Qaumi Mother’ Sheikh Hasina. The worst period was the 18 month anarchy unleashed on the Bangladeshi hellscape by Md Yunus and his cohorts till February 12 this year when the BNP ousted illegitimate interim regime from ill-begotten power through electoral victory. But despite pious platitudes of BNP leadership on social and religious harmony there is no tangible change in the venomous mindset of the majority ‘Momins’ who gleefully target the minority Hindus.
The latest outrage that rocked the minorities happened last night in Putia subdistrict under Chittagong district . Two Hindu friends Pankaj Shil and Tilak Chakraborty were on their way back home from Kamal Munshi market but around 9-30 PM they came across three masked men lying in wait at Jauli Dighi area in darkness. But as they called out asking who they were and what they wanted , the three masked ‘Momins’ pounced on Pankaj and Tilak with knives and inflicted serious injuries on them without any rhyme or reason . As they lay bleeding on the ground , local people came rushing in and managed to send them to Putia hospital where Pankaj was pronounced ‘dead on arrival’ while Tilak is battling for life in a Chittagong hospital where he was shifted . Sources said that a deepening fear psychosis has gripped the Hindu minority people all over the country .
In a separate incident a gang of ‘Momin’miscreants stormed the residence of Hindu small trader Shubha Biswas in Bahadurpur village in Manirampur subdistrict under Jessore district in the early hours of June 8 . Sources from Bangladesh said that two ‘Momin’ miscreants Mahbub Moral and his accomplice Matiur Rahaman Moral had been trying to extort 5 lakh Bangladeshi Taka from Shubha Biswas but he had expressed inability to make the payment . As part of vendetta the two miscreants , accompanied by a few others , had stormed the house of Shubha Biswas and tried to kill him by beating him severely . Shubha’s wife Suchitra Biswas also sustained serious injuries while trying to save her husband from beating and later with help from friends and relatives the husband and wife got admitted to a private hospital in Jessore town and are under treatment there in serious condition . Sources said that the ‘Momin’dacoits had looted 2 lakh Bangladeshi Taka and golden chain belonging to Suchitra Biswas before making good their escape . ‘’
