Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma Reviews Development Projects with TTAADC Executive Council at Khumulwng

In a significant step towards accelerating development in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) region, State Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma held a high-level review meeting with members of the TTAADC Executive Council at the Administration Building in Khumulwng on yesterday.
The meeting was attended by TTAADC Chief Executive Member (CEM) Runeil Debbarma and Executive Member (EM) CK Jamatia, along with senior officials and engineers from various departments. The discussions focused on reviewing the progress of ongoing infrastructure and public welfare projects being implemented across TTAADC areas and identifying measures to ensure their timely completion.
According to Minister Bikash Debbarma, the meeting comprehensively examined the status of various development initiatives aimed at improving connectivity, public services, and overall living standards in tribal-dominated regions. Particular emphasis was laid on maintaining quality standards, ensuring transparency and accountability, and strengthening coordination among departments for the effective execution of projects.
Addressing the meeting, the Minister reiterated the State Government’s commitment to the holistic development of indigenous communities and the transformation of TTAADC areas through modern infrastructure and sustainable development initiatives. He stressed that all stakeholders must work collectively to ensure that developmental benefits reach every section of society.
Following the review meeting, the Minister and TTAADC leaders also held a cordial interaction with representatives of TTAADC Executive Council members. During the interaction, the leaders exchanged views on issues concerning tribal welfare, socio-economic advancement, cultural preservation, and community development.
