RYLA 2026 Concludes on a High Note at Ayushgram, Empowering Over 200 Young Leaders from Northeast India

The two-day Regional Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) 2026 concluded successfully at Ayushgram, Damdamia, Mohanpur, bringing together more than 200 Rotaractors and youth leaders from Tripura, Assam, and other neighboring states for an enriching leadership and personality development experience.
The mega youth leadership event was hosted by the Rotary Club of Agartala, co-hosted by the Rotary Club of Agartala City and the Rotary Club of Teliamura, with the Rotaract Club of Agartala serving as the key supporting partner. The program emerged as one of the largest youth-centric Rotary initiatives in the region, providing a unique platform for learning, networking, and personal growth.
The inaugural session was attended by distinguished Rotary leaders and guests. The chief guest, Dr. Kameshwar Singh Elambam, District Governor of Rotary International District 3240, officially inaugurated the event and emphasized the importance of leadership, service, and innovation among young people. He was joined by Assistant Governor (Zone XVI) Subir Som and noted social innovator Valmiki Hari Kishan, whose presence added significance to the occasion.
Over the two days, participants interacted with an impressive lineup of 18 eminent speakers from diverse professional backgrounds. The academic and motivational sessions commenced with an engaging career counseling seminar conducted by renowned educationist Abhijit Bhattacharjee, who guided participants on career planning and future opportunities. This was followed by a highly informative session titled “AI Unmasked” by Suman Deb, which explored the growing influence of artificial intelligence and its implications for society and future careers.
The program also featured insightful lectures and interactive discussions by veteran journalist Jayanta Debnath, academician Swapan Bhowmik, and medical expert Bidhan Goswami. Their sessions focused on leadership, communication, social responsibility, professional ethics, and personal development, offering valuable perspectives to the young delegates.
Apart from the educational and motivational components, RYLA 2026 emphasized fellowship, teamwork, and holistic development.
