TBSE’s ‘Save Year’ exam to come off on July 6, last date for personal inspection of answer script 9th June

The ‘Save Year’ exam-equivalent to the compartmental or supplementary exam of the past- of the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) is scheduled to come off on July 6 . This was announced by the president of the TBSE Dr Dhananjay Ganchowdhury in an interaction with the media in the Board’s office. “ This exam generally comes off within two months of the declaration of results of the ‘Madhyamik’ and HS (+2) exams and those who get plucked in maximum two subjects in the main exams get an opportunity to sit for the ‘Save Year’ exam” said Dr Ganchowdhury . He also told media persons that the last date for personal inspection of answer scripts by candidates of ‘Madhyamik’ and HS (+2) exams will end on June 9. However the last date for filing application for personal inspection is already over.

Dr Ganchowdhury said that with the holding of the ‘Save Year’exam the academic activity of the TBSE for the year 2026 will come to a close. “ I must however mention that the ‘Save Year’ exam that we take is very important for students because it save a full year for the students who get plucked in maximum two subjects in the regular ‘Madhyamik’and HS (+2) exam , so students of this category must be extremely careful” said Dr Ganchowdhury. He called upon the students as well as their guardians about preparation for the upcoming ‘Save Year’ exam of TBSE.
