Tripura CM Dr. Manik Saha Holds High-Level BJP and Government Meetings in New Delhi, Pushes Key Development and Political Agenda for State

Manik Saha intensified Tripura’s political and developmental outreach in the national capital with a series of high-profile meetings involving top Bharatiya Janata Party leadership, Union Ministers, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During his visit to New Delhi, the Tripura Chief Minister paid a courtesy call on BJP National President Nitin Nabin and BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) BL Santhosh at the BJP Central Headquarters. The leaders held detailed discussions on several important organisational matters aimed at further strengthening the party structure and expanding the BJP’s organisational network in Tripura.

Dr. Saha later stated on social media that the discussions were productive and focused on organisational issues as well as the latest political and developmental developments in Tripura. Reaffirming the party’s commitment, the Chief Minister said that they remain dedicated to strengthening the organisation and working for the welfare of the people.

The Chief Minister also met Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Arjun Ram Meghwal at his official residence in New Delhi. During the meeting, discussions were held on various organisational matters and issues related to strengthening Tripura’s developmental framework.

In another important interaction, Dr. Saha met BJP National General Secretary and BJP Bihar In-charge Arun Singh. During the meeting, the Chief Minister invited him to visit the redeveloped Maa Tripura Sundari Temple at Matabari, one of the most revered religious and tourist destinations in Tripura.

Earlier, the Tripura Chief Minister had an important meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, where he raised several crucial issues related to the state’s overall development and infrastructure expansion.

According to the Chief Minister, detailed discussions were held on a wide range of subjects including the establishment of an AIIMS in Tripura, expansion of the national highway from Kamalpur to Santirbazar, development of the dairy industry, strengthening sports infrastructure, introduction of double-line railway tracks, launching of Vande Bharat train services, employment generation in the technology sector, and expansion of tourism infrastructure.

Dr. Saha also placed before the Prime Minister several important proposals related to the Finance Department, allocation of additional houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, increase in the number of Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS), enhancement of AYY ration cards for the Bru community, and greater allocation of natural gas for the state.

Expressing confidence after the meeting, the Chief Minister stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the coordinated efforts of the Centre and the Tripura Government for public welfare and all-round development of the state would become more dynamic and effective in the coming days.

The series of meetings is being viewed as a significant political and developmental initiative by the Tripura Government to strengthen coordination with the central leadership and accelerate key infrastructure, welfare, and organisational projects in the state.
