Tripura Chief Minister Meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Discusses Key Developmental Priorities of the State

Tripura’s Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and held extensive discussions on several important issues related to the overall development and welfare of Tripura.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister placed before the Prime Minister a number of significant proposals and developmental priorities aimed at accelerating the socio-economic growth of the state. Key issues discussed included the establishment of an AIIMS in Tripura, expansion of the National Highway from Kamalpur to Sabroom, development of the dairy industry, strengthening of sports infrastructure, introduction of double railway lines, and launching of Vande Bharat train services for the state.

Dr. Saha also highlighted the need for greater employment opportunities in the technology sector, promotion of tourism, and various financial matters concerning the state. He further sought additional allocation of houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), increase in the number of Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS), enhancement of AYY ration cards for the Bru community, and higher allocation of natural gas for Tripura.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the coordinated efforts of the Central and State Governments would further accelerate Tripura’s overall development and public welfare initiatives in the coming days.

During the meeting, Dr. Manik Saha also warmly congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 12 glorious years dedicated to public service and leadership for the nation.
