476 Newly Trained Constables Join Tripura Police as CM Manik Saha Attends Passing Out Parade at KTD Singh Police Training Academy

In a significant boost to the state’s law enforcement system and women’s empowerment initiatives, the Passing Out Parade of the 91st and 92nd batches of Tripura Police Constables (Male and Female) was held today at the KTD Singh Police Training Academy in Narsingarh.

The grand ceremonial parade took place in the presence of Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, who attended the event as the chief guest and reviewed the parade of the newly trained recruits.

According to official information, a total of 476 trained constables were formally inducted into the Tripura Police force after successfully completing their training. Significantly, out of the total recruits, 318 are women constables, marking one of the largest inclusions of women personnel in the state police force in recent years.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the large-scale induction of women constables reflects the BJP government’s strong commitment towards women empowerment and inclusive development in Tripura. He emphasized that the growing participation of women in the police force will further strengthen public confidence and improve community-oriented policing across the state.

The Chief Minister stated that the government is committed to building a modern, disciplined, people-friendly and humane policing system where officers serve society with integrity, courage and compassion. He stressed that the police force plays a crucial role in maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety and security of citizens.

Tripura Director General of Police Director General of Police, Anurag Dhankar, IPS also addressed the ceremony and congratulated the newly inducted constables for successfully completing their rigorous training.

Both the Chief Minister and the DGP extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the new constables and expressed hope that they would uphold the values of discipline, dedication and public service while performing their duties in safeguarding society and maintaining peace and harmony across the state.

The Passing Out Parade showcased synchronized drills, discipline and professional excellence of the recruits, reflecting, the high standards of training imparted at the KTD Singh Police Training Academy. The ceremony was attended by senior police officials, administrative officers, families of the recruits and invited dignitaries.
