Tripura Gramin Bank Wins Best Performing Bank under SAMRIDDHI 2.0 Award

In a moment of immense pride and recognition for the rural banking sector of Tripura, Tripura Gramin Bank has been honoured with the prestigious Best Performing Bank under SAMRIDDHI 2.0 award by the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission under the Rural Development Department, Government of Tripura, for the financial year 2025-26. The coveted award was presented today by Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha during a grand programme held at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan in Agartala. The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished dignitaries, including Abhishek Singh, Tarit Kanti Chakma, senior government officials, bankers, Self Help Group representatives and development partners.The recognition highlights the remarkable contribution of Tripura Gramin Bank in implementing the objectives of SAMRIDDHI 2.0, particularly in strengthening rural livelihoods, expanding financial inclusion, empowering women-led Self Help Groups (SHGs), and supporting entrepreneurship initiatives across the state.Over the years, the bank has played a significant role in promoting economic empowerment among rural communities by extending financial assistance, credit linkage, and banking services to thousands of SHGs and rural beneficiaries. Its active participation in livelihood generation programmes and support towards the Lakhpati Didi initiative have been widely appreciated.
