Government employee found dead in city hotel

A 35-year-old man was found dead inside a hotel room in Agartala on Tuesday evening.

The deceased was identified as Bishal Akash Das, a resident of the Shalbagan area on the outskirts of the city. His body was recovered from room number 309 of the hotel.

According to police sources, Das was employed in the agriculture department and was currently posted at Sabroom in South Tripura district.

Police and forensic teams rushed to the spot after the incident came to light. An investigation has been initiated to ascertain the cause of death.
