Miscreants run amok in Bishalgarh, two CPI (M) leaders assaulted

Despite recent furore over two shooting incidents, Bishalgarh continues to be in a state of turmoil over political issues . This came to light today again in the Koroimura area west of Bishalgarh town. Sources from Bishalgarh said that the divisional committee secretary of Student Federation of India (SFI)-student front of the opposition CPI (M)-and the CPI (M) local committee secretary of Koroimura area Mosharaff Hossain had been standing near the market area.

Around 9-00 in the morning a gang of local BJP miscreants materialized on the spot and targeted pistols at their heads asking why they had gone to the market and warning them not to visit the area again. The miscreants also physically assaulted them. After being informed of what had happened the Fire Brigade authority reached the spot and rescued the injured CPI (M) leaders and took them to Bishalgarh subdivisional hospital . However the doctor on duty there referred them to GBP hospital where they are lying in a serious condition. The CPI (M) subdivisional committee of Bishalgarh have condemned the attack and demanded strict police action against the BJP miscreants.
