Mafia Ranabir co-operating in investigation , fire-arms recovered by police on information given by him

In a new twist to the firing incidents in Bishalgarh in the month of March , the SP (Sepahijala) Bijay Debbarma today said that mafia Ranabir Debnath who surrendered to police after lot of theatrics in connection with the twin firing incidents is not ‘mentally imbalanced’, as claimed by many people. Speaking to media persons in Bishalgarh Bijay Debbarma said that after his surrender to police and court Ranabir had been put through medical check-up as well as thorough checking by a psychiatrist and it had been found that he was mentally perfectly well.

“Äctually Ranir ever since his arrest has been co-operating with police and it is on the basis of his statement that we have recovered three small fire-arms and arrested one culprit named Parimal Das; he is now being interrogated for more information”said Bijay Debbarma . He added that investigation into the case of firing on two houses in Bishalgarh by Ranabir and his accomplices is now in full swing and very soon a charge-sheet will be filed.
