‘Tipra Motha’contradicts versions on post-poll violence in Simna-Tamakari and Bodhjung Nagar Waki Nagar

The ‘Tipra Motha’ leadership in Mohanpur have contradicted the circulating version on post-poll violence in the two ADC constituencies under the subdivision. “There has been no violent incident against BJP or any other party in the Simna-Tamakari and Bodhjung Nagar-Waki Nagar constituencies in the aftermath of the declaration of results of ADC polls on April 17”said Benoy Debbarma, chairman of the Barkathal sub-zonal of the ADC in Mohanpur subdivision.

He said that there has been no physical attack or vandalisation of houses and properties in the two constituencies on and after April 17, the day of declaration of results. “ Actually the BJP has suffered a complete debacle in the polls and this may be the reason why the party is trying to tarnish the image of ‘Tipra Motha’ by raising false allegations of violence in Simna-Tamakari (No-13) and Bodhjung Nagar-Waki Nagar (No-14) ; the people living in ADC areas have firmly rejected the BJP and its politics and reposed faith in ‘Tipra Motha’led by ‘Bubagra’ ; spooked by this reality the BJP has been making wild allegations” said Benoy Debbarma. He added that the election in two constituencies of ADC in Mohanpur subdivision was peaceful and smooth and the result was on expected lines.
