Soundarya Chinmayi Mandir Inaugurated at Mohanpur in Presence of RSS Chief, CM Terms It Future Knowledge and Spiritual Hub

The newly constructed Soundarya Chinmayi Mandir was inaugurated this morning at Mohanpur in a significant religious and cultural event attended by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, and the Governors of Tripura and Maharashtra. The RSS Chief and Tripura Chief Minister also took part in the Kumbhabhishekam ceremony of the temple, describing it as a future centre of knowledge and spiritual learning in the state. Both of them invited people from across Tripura and beyond to visit the temple and contribute to its development.
The temple is a notable architectural structure, carved from a massive stone formation rising about fifteen feet in height and constructed using twenty-seven stone blocks. It has been adorned with sacred shlokas attributed to Adi Shankaracharya, enhancing its spiritual significance. Addressing the gathering, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat expressed confidence that the temple would gradually develop into a major religious tourism destination.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha highlighted that ample open land has been kept around the temple, allowing visitors to plant trees and participate in its expansion.
Several dignitaries were present on the occasion, including Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu, Rajmata Bivu Kumari Devi, Padma Shri awardee CR Raghavendra, Swami Nityananda of Chinmaya Mission, Swami Vigyanananda, representatives of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, Minister Ratan Lal Nath, Chinmaya Mission Tripura President Amit Rakkhit, and Secretary Keshav Lal Ray.
On the same occasion, the Chinmaya Hari Hara Vidyalaya, a free English medium school affiliated with the CBSE curriculum, was also inaugurated. The institution is expected to contribute significantly to the expansion of quality education in the region. The event marks an important step in strengthening Tripura’s cultural, spiritual, and educational landscape, with Mohanpur poised to emerge as a prominent hub of religious tourism and learning.
