Fresh Tension in Takarjala as BJP Leader’s House Vandalized by Tipra Motha Amid Rajib Bhattacharjee’s Presence in the Area

A fresh incident of violence in Takarjala has created intense tension in the area after the house of a BJP Mandal President was vandalized. The Attack on BJP Mandal President’s House was taken place while BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharjee Was Present at the area. Residence of Nirmal Debbarma, BJP Mandal President and candidate from Takarjala–Jampuijala, was attacked and damaged, triggering a fresh unrest across the locality.

The situation escalated further following an attempted attack, leading to clashes in which at least 15 police personnel, including the Superintendent of Police (SP) Sepahijala Bijay Debbarma, were injured. A large police force was immediately deployed to the area to control the situation. Officials have confirmed that the situation is now under control, though tension still prevails.

Allegations regarding the incident have been directed towards supporters of Tipra Motha, but authorities are yet to make an official confirmation as investigations continue.

Local residents have voiced strong concerns over the deteriorating law and order situation. According to them, the police must take strict and decisive action to deal with those involved. Many people have expressed anger, stating that the ongoing activities of BJP and Motha supporters are disturbing peace and preventing common citizens from living normally.

Residents also feel that in what they describe as a clash between rival groups, ordinary people are being reduced to mere spectators. There is growing fear among the public that both sides have weakened the authority of the police, which they believe is the most alarming aspect of the situation.

Police officials are maintaining strict vigil in the area, and further action is expected as the investigation progresses.
