‘Tipra Motha’ intensifies campaign for ADC polls, massive rally organised in Bodhjung Nagar-Waki Nagar constituency

As the day of election to the ADC draws near by the day , the ‘Tipra Motha’ is intensifying its campaign for the polls . Amidst the statewide campaign in all 28 elective seats , the party is organising poll rallies and processions in favour of party candidates all over the electoral arena. A huge poll procession , followed by a meeting, was organised this morning in the Bodhjung Nagar-Waki Nagar (No-14) ADC constituency in favour of party’s popular candidate Runiel Debbarma. It was also attended by the ‘Tipra Motha’ block president Dipak Debbarma and other leaders who led it alongside candidate Runiel Debbarma.
Sources said that the procession had commenced from Chakma Kami area under the Waki Nagar village committee and moved ahead with party workers and supporter dancing and singing all the way even while occasionally shouting slogans and ended in Bhim Sadhu para area under the Birmohan village committee. Speaking to media persons at the end of the rally the ‘Tipra Motha’ candidate Runiel Debbarma and block president Dipak Debbarma asserted that Runiel will win the constituency hands down as he had done in 2021. They also condemned the campaign of calumny being carried out by the BJP against the ‘Tipra Motha’ and its leadership. They, also charged the BJP led state government with depriving the ADC of due funds and of other important matters , adding that the indigenous people will teach the BJP a lesson by making a clean sweep of all the constituencies in the April 12 election.
