In a significant political outreach initiative, leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Tripura have begun actively presenting the 'Model Tripura' development narrative across different states of India, especially in poll-bound Kerala, Assam and West Bengal. This effort is no longer limited to prominent figures like Chief Minister Manik Saha or former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb. A wide spectrum of leaders, including ministers, MLAs, and even mandal-level party workers, are now participating in this campaign to highlight Tripura’s governance and organizational success.
The latest example of this expanding outreach was seen when senior BJP leader and Deputy Speaker of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, Ram Prasad Paul, attended a major party event in Assam. He participated in a large 'Panna Pramukh' conference held at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Indoor Stadium in Hojai.
The event witnessed the presence of several key BJP leaders, including Assam BJP’s prominent figure and Hojai constituency candidate Shiladitya Dev, along with other party functionaries.
Addressing the gathering, Ram Prasad Paul shared insights from Tripura’s political and organizational experience. He emphasized strategies to strengthen the party at the grassroots level, especially in the context of upcoming elections. Highlighting the importance of booth-level management, he stressed that 'Panna Pramukhs' play a crucial role in building a strong organizational base.
In a message shared on social media, Paul noted the visible enthusiasm among party workers at the conference. He advised that organizational efforts must continue throughout the year and underlined the BJP’s core philosophy: 'Organization is strength, and determination leads to victory.'
The participation of Tripura leaders in such interstate engagements reflects the BJP’s broader strategy of leveraging Tripura’s governance model and organizational success stories to energize cadres in other states ahead of crucial electoral battles.
Notably, apart from Assam and Kerala, several senior Tripura leaders
including Biplab Kumar Deb, Subal Bhowmik, former MP Pratima Bhowmik, Minister Kishore Barman, and MLA Sushanta Deb, TIDC Chairman Nabadul Banik are actively campaigning for the West Bengal Assembly elections.
