After campaigning in Kerala, Manik Saha, the Chief Minister of Tripura, addressed a massive Vijay Sankalp Rally today in support of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Rajdeep Roy in the Silchar constituency of Assam.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Saha said that the people of Silchar are firmly determined to ensure the formation of a BJP-led government in Assam for the third consecutive term in the upcoming polls on April 9. He expressed strong confidence that the electorate will once again repose their faith in the BJP’s governance.
The Chief Minister highlighted that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the state has witnessed continuous and transformative development. He emphasized that the people of Assam are fully prepared to take this developmental momentum forward.
Calling for collective commitment, Dr. Saha urged the public to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accelerate the pace of development across Northeast India.
Reflecting on Tripura’s political transformation, the Chief Minister noted that the state once lagged behind due to the ideology of the Left Front government, which, according to him, hindered progress. However, since the BJP assumed power in 2018, Tripura has been witnessing rapid development and growth.
Dr. Saha also expressed firm optimism that BJP candidate Dr. Rajdeep Roy will secure a resounding victory from the Silchar constituency.
