Ground-Breaking Ceremony for National Law University Tripura Buildings on February 6

The National Law University (NLU) Tripura is set to mark a significant milestone with the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of its buildings at the Old TIT Campus, Narsingarh, Agartala.The ceremony will be performed by Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha and Mr. Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh, Chancellor of NLU Tripura and Chief Justice of the High Court of Tripura. The event will also witness the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Judges of the High Court of Tripura, Secretary, Higher Education, Govt. of Tripura, and Secretary, Public Works Department (R&B), Govt. of Tripura.The function is scheduled for February 6, 2025, at 4:00 PM. The event is being organized under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Yogesh Pratap Singh, Founding Vice-Chancellor of NLU Tripura, and Prof. (Dr.) Nachiketa Mittal, Registrar (I/C), NLU Tripura.The establishment of NLU Tripura, under Tripura Act No. 3 of 2022, is expected to strengthen legal education in the state and contribute to the growth of legal research and jurisprudence.
