BJP launches campaign for ADC polls in different constituencies after snapping of ties of Tipra Motha

In the wake of ‘Tipra Motha’s decision to snap electoral tie-up with the BJP yesterday , the BJP has started plunging in the campaign for the upcoming ADC polls with a new sense of urgency. This was evident today as the BJP candidate for the Maharani-Teliamura constituency Billu Jamatya reached the pary’s ‘Mandal’ office in Krishnapur and was received with overwhelming cordiality of party’s workers and supporters .

The ‘Mandal’ president Dhananjay Das and vice president Gopal Das were among the large number of party workers and supporters who warmly welcomed the candidate Billu Jamatya. There was a brief party meeting which Billu Jamayta briefly addressed to assert that he will work as hard as possible to ensure overall development of all sections of people in the constituency , specially focussing on the areas neglected so far by the outgoing ADC administration. His main focus will development of infrastructure , Billu added. He also expressed optimism over his victory in the upcoming election.

The minister for tribal welfare Bikash Debbarma, a man from Krishnapur, who was also present on the occasion said that during the rule of previous government areas inhabited by indigenous people were neglected . “Our taks will be to make up the shortfall and ensure development of people and backward areas inhabited by them”said Bikash . He asserted that BJP will definitely win the ADC and work for the welfare of the tribal people.
