Tripura Gramin Bank inaugurates renovated Jogendra Nagar branch in Agartala

Tripura Gramin Bank on Thursday inaugurated its newly renovated Jogendra Nagar branch, marking an upgrade of its banking infrastructure in the area.

The branch was inaugurated by the bank’s Chairman Satyendra Singh, officials said, adding that the renovation was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen customer services and expand modern banking facilities.

General Manager Anup Kumar Saha, Regional Manager (RO West) Sujit Roy and Senior Branch Manager of Jogendra Nagar branch Sanjoy Das were present at the event, along with officials from the head office, regional office and other staff members.

According to officials, the upgraded branch has been equipped with improved infrastructure and customer-oriented facilities aimed at enhancing service delivery. They said the modernisation aligns with the bank’s broader objective of keeping pace with evolving banking standards.

A large number of customers from different sections of society attended the programme, reflecting continued public engagement with the bank, officials said.

They added that the Jogendra Nagar branch has been developed into a modern banking unit with facilities comparable to those available in nationalised banks. The initiative is part of efforts to expand outreach and improve accessibility of financial services in the region.

Officials further said the bank remains focused on financial inclusion and strengthening service delivery through infrastructure development and customer convenience initiatives.
