Sullen indifference and grudging praise mark respective Bangladeshi and Pakistani reaction to Indian victory in T-20 world cup final

Human mind and responses and reactions of its inner recesses to events around may well be the most mysterious and intriguing phenomenon in landscapes and societies across the globe. But the matter is always predictable in the case of ‘Momin’ minds when it comes to success or failure of infidels in any sphere of human activity as the invisible Almighty’s chosen off-springs have arrogated the right to perfection and success everywhere and to pass the buck of failures on the non-believers. It is their divinely ordained right to triumph in all human actions as well as to sneer and loathe all activities or success of infidels in life as well as in death.
Nothing exposes the dark medieval mindset of the ‘Momins’ better than India’s remarkable conquest of the third T-20 world cup cricket title last night at Ahmedabad. Even as cricketing greats across the world were effusive in their kudos to Indian achievement, the ‘Jahil’ petties in Bangladesh greeted Indian triumph last night with a funerary silence . The majority of the media outlets, specially in the online section , either spiked the report entirely or quoted foreign experts like former England skippers Nasser Hossain or Michael Atherton to dish out as laconic a report as possible.
This is however in stark contrast to the euphoric reaction of the petty Bangladeshi minnows to the totally unexpected Indian loss against Australia in the final of 50-over world cup cricket final played on the same Ahmedabad ground on the fateful night of October 19 2023. Having won ten consecutive matches in the run-up to the final on that occasion India was hot favourite to lift the richly deserved world cup for the third time but the pitch on the ground and the pre-match toss of coin played spoilsport and India lost.
But that was enough to ignite the outpouring of anti-India (actually anti-Hindu) hatred and malice of the petty and pathologically communal Bangladeshi ‘Momins’ who went for wild celebration across the country by bursting fire-crackers and taking out candle light processions as if their hellscape of a country had won the world cup. This time the tone and tenor of the hellhole and its denizens is one of silent mourning and shedding tears in corners . Similar scenes had been witnessed in India’s successful run to clinch the titles of T-20 world cup of 2024, the ICC champions’s trophy and Asia cup last year . It was on live TV programmes that ‘Momins’ and ‘Hizabi Mominas’ were seen asserting that they would rather have banana trees win the ICC trophies than India ! An unapologetic celebration of the ingrained and scripturally enjoined hatred in the true ‘Momin’ minds for non-conforming infidels.
The pitiable Pakistanis fared a shade better as most of the former cricketing stalwarts of the country like Shoaib Akhtar, Rameej Raja, Inzamamul Haque et al deplored the tactical mistake made by New Zealand in not playing a classical off-spinner who could have put the left-handers in the Indian batting line-up including promising rookie Abhishek Sharma in trouble but still had words of appreciation in an elegiac tone for their favourite punching bag, that is Hindu India. The great Wasim Akaram was however generous, as always, in his praise and appreciation of the Indian performance but that was offset by the pathologically anti-Hindu India-basher Shaheed Afridi who said all he could to ascribe Indian victory to a fluke . His visceral hatred of Hindu India burns always, as it should in a true ‘Momin’ mind.
