Tripura Emerges as a Model of Governance, CM Highlights 347 National Awards at Dharmanagar Youth Rally

Chief Minister Manik Saha on Friday asserted that Tripura has emerged as a national model of good governance under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government, stating that the state has received 347 “Best of the Best” awards from various national platforms over the past few years.

Addressing a massive gathering at the BBI Ground in Dharmanagar, the Chief Minister said several states across India are now looking at Tripura as an example and are adopting many of its initiatives and development models.

The public meeting, titled “Yuva Shankhanad Samabesh,” was organized by the youth wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The rally witnessed the presence of BJP Tripura president Rajib Bhattacharjee, Minister Tinku Roy, Yaba Morcha president Sushanta Deb, party leaders, and a large number of supporters and youth activists.

Tripura’s Progress Recognized Nationally

In his address, the Chief Minister emphasized that the state’s progress has received appreciation at the highest levels of the country. According to him, both the President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu and the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi have expressed satisfaction over Tripura’s development trajectory.

He also noted that the NITI Aayog has on several occasions encouraged other states to study and follow Tripura’s governance and development initiatives.

Highlighting the significance of the gathering, Dr. Saha said the enthusiastic and spontaneous participation of young people clearly demonstrates the growing trust and confidence of the people in the BJP government’s development agenda and governance.

According to him, the energy of the youth, the tireless efforts of party workers, and the enthusiastic involvement of citizens elevated the event to a unique level.

He said the unity and strength displayed at the rally would further accelerate Tripura’s development and forward march in the coming years.

Before the public meeting, Chief Minister Manik Saha and BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee participated in a roadshow in Dharmanagar, which received a warm response from residents and party supporters.

Speaking about the roadshow, the Chief Minister said the enthusiasm of the people and the dedication of party workers reflect the strong collective spirit behind the vision of building a stronger and more prosperous Tripura.

Later in the day, an organizational meeting was held at the BJP’s Atal Bhavan party office in Dharmanagar in view of the upcoming Dharmanagar Assembly by-election.

The meeting was attended by Chief Minister Manik Saha, state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee, and other party leaders. During the session, the two leaders provided guidance and strategic suggestions to party workers to strengthen preparations for the by-poll.

Party leaders emphasized coordinated efforts at the grassroots level to ensure effective campaign management and organizational readiness for the election.
