Congress trying to revive organizational structure, meeting held in Bishalgarh

Despite being saddled with devious and opportunistic leadership at the national level , the Congress in Tripura is trying hard to revive its organizational strength and structure. The PCC president Asish Kumar Saha has been touring the state to reinduct estranged party workers and supporters keeping an eye on the upcoming elections to the Villlage Council in ADC and the statewide civic body elections in 2026.

As part of the ongoing drive the PCC president Asish Kumar Saha today held an extended meeting of the party leadership in Bishalgarh. The meeting was attended by Congress leaders and office bearers from Sonamura and Bishalgarh subdivisions Jaydip Roybarman, Dipak Chakraborty, Gopinath S aha and leaders of frontal organizations. Asish Saha was accompanied by AICC observer Chritopher Tilak. In today’s organizational meeting the party leaders discussed the ways and means of strengthening the party through movement. The PCC president Asish Saha and AICC observer Christopher Tilak gave a guideline to the leaders and workers of Sonamura and Bishalgarh on how to strengthen the party organization by involving the people.It was decided to launch agitational programmes against the anti-people policies of the state’s BJP government.
