Unakoti District BJP’s Youth Morcha President Accused of Illicit Relationship and Assault, Tension Erupts in Kailashahar

Fresh controversy has erupted in Kailashahar town of Unakoti district after serious allegations were raised against Arup Dhar, President of the Unakoti District Youth Morcha of the ruling party.

According to allegations made by a local resident, Shibam Bachhpor, Dhar was caught red-handed on Sunday evening in Ward No. 5 of the municipal area. Shibam Bachhpor has alleged that he found Dhar in a compromising situation with his wife in a dark area of the locality. He further claimed that he caught Dhar while he was allegedly attempting to kiss his wife.

The incident reportedly led to a heated confrontation. Local sources stated that upon being confronted, Dhar allegedly engaged in a scuffle with Shibam Bachhpor. It is alleged that Shibam was assaulted during the altercation and sustained injuries, reportedly bleeding before local residents intervened.

Hearing the commotion, people from the surrounding area rushed to the scene and restrained Dhar, preventing further escalation of the situation.

The allegations of an illicit relationship, along with the reported assault, have triggered strong reactions among residents of Kailashahar. The incident has created tension in the locality, with many demanding immediate police action and a fair investigation.

It is reported that the matter has been informed to the police. However, as of the time of filing this report, there has been no official confirmation regarding any arrest in connection with the incident.
