Developed India, Developed Tripura Exhibition Begins Today: MP Rajib Bhattacharjee

With the vision of building a Developed India by 2047 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a three-day exhibition titled “Developed India, Developed Tripura” began today in Agartala. The exhibition aims to showcase the achievements, ongoing initiatives, and future development plans of both the Central and Tripura State Governments.

Addressing a press conference at the Agartala Press Club yesterday, Member of Parliament Rajib Bhattacharjee said the exhibition has been organized to present a comprehensive picture of development initiatives undertaken at both national and state levels. The event will be formally inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and will continue until February 28 at Shishu Udyan in Agartala.

The exhibition is designed to create awareness among citizens, particularly the youth, about the transformative initiatives taken to build a stronger and more prosperous India and Tripura. Visitors will get detailed information about major government schemes, infrastructure projects, technological advancements, and long-term strategic plans aimed at economic growth and social development.

Several important departments and institutions are participating in the exhibition. Defense organization DRDO, including the Territorial Army, will display their activities and future plans. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will also participate, highlighting India’s achievements in space science and technology. Students will demonstrate robotics and innovative technological models, making the exhibition particularly attractive for the younger generation.

The exhibition will also showcase Agartala’s Smart City Mission projects through modern technological displays. Developments in Tripura’s tourism sector will be highlighted to promote the state as an emerging tourist hub. The Tourism Corporation and concerned departments will present initiatives aimed at attracting both domestic and international tourists, along with arrangements to promote Tripura’s tourism potential outside the state.

Additionally, the Health Department and Industries Department will display their current achievements and future plans. Various government departments will set up stalls to present their ongoing development work and upcoming initiatives.

Speaking at the press conference, MP Rajib Bhattacharjee stated that India currently ranks fourth in the global economy, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi aims to elevate the country to the third position. The vision of a Developed India is focused on achieving that milestone. He further said that as part of this broader mission, special emphasis is being given to strengthening Tripura and the entire Northeast region.

The exhibition is expected to draw significant participation from students, youth groups, and the general public over the next three days, serving as an inspirational platform for the next generation to actively contribute to the vision of a Developed India and a Developed Tripura.
