IGP Krishnendu Chakraborty Honoured with Chief Minister’s Medal for Outstanding Service at Tripura Police Week

In a proud moment for Tripura Police, Inspector General of Police (Security & Intelligence) Krishnendu Chakraborty, IPS was conferred the prestigious “Chief Minister’s Medal for Outstanding Service” during the observance of Tripura Police Week. The award was presented by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha at a formal ceremony held at the Manoranjan Debbarma Smriti Stadium in AD Nagar, Agartala.

Krishnendu Chakraborty, widely regarded as a dedicated officer, has played a pivotal role in strengthening the state’s security framework. His leadership in intelligence gathering, modernization of policing methods, and effective coordination during sensitive operations has significantly contributed to maintaining law and order across Tripura.

Over the years, Tripura Police has built a reputation for professionalism and efficiency in crime control and public safety. All total 81 police personnel and officers was awarded today’s police week day event. And DGP Anurag Dhankar, IPS and all other senior officers congratulated them including IGP Chakraborty, describing their recognitions as well deserved.
