Blood Donation Camp Held at Chief Minister’s Residence to Mark 28th Death Anniversary of Makhan Lal Saha

A voluntary blood donation camp was organized at the residence of the Chief Minister to commemorate the 28th death anniversary of Late Makhan Lal Saha. The camp, which was the eleventh such initiative, was arranged under the banner of ML Plaza as a tribute to the social contributions of the late Saha.
The blood donation camp was formally inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. Prominent dignitaries including Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder, Chairperson of AMC Central Zone Ratna Dutta, and Padma Shri award-winning gymnast Dipa Karmakar were present on the occasion along with several other respected guests.
Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha paid rich tributes to his father Late Makhan Lal Saha and discussed his life, ideals, and dedication toward social welfare. He emphasized the importance of voluntary blood donation and appreciated the initiative taken by the organizers in continuing this noble tradition year after year.
Addressing the gathering, the organizerh stated that on the occasion of the 28th death anniversary of his father, Late Makhan Lal Saha, he was deeply grateful to all the donors who participated in the 11th voluntary blood donation camp organized by ML Plaza. He extended heartfelt thanks and congratulations to every donor for their selfless contribution.
He further appealed to the people of Tripura to organize similar blood donation programs on occasions such as birthdays, death anniversaries, wedding anniversaries, or any other auspicious days. He stressed that such initiatives could play a vital role in saving precious lives and strengthening the spirit of social responsibility among citizens.
A large number of people participated enthusiastically in the camp, donating blood for a humanitarian cause. The organizers expressed sincere gratitude to all participants and guests for making the program successful and meaningful.
