Tripura Govt. Effects Major Administrative Reshuffle, Dr. Milind Ramteke Appointed as Secretary Urban & Shri Saju Vaheed, Municipal Commissioner

The Government of Tripura on Tuesday issued a notification effecting a significant reshuffle at the senior administrative level, with the appointment of Dr. Milind Dharmrao Ramteke, IAS (TR:2009), as Secretary to the Government of Tripura following his repatriation from Central Deputation.

According to the notification issued by the General Administration (Personnel & Training) Department, Dr. Ramteke has been posted in the IAS Supertime Scale at Level 14 of the Pay Matrix, along with other admissible allowances. Dr Ramteke already hold the responsibilities of the Urban Development Department, Education (School) Department, and the Revenue Department, including Relief, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management.

As a consequence of this posting, several changes have been made in the allocation of departmental charges among senior IAS officers. Shri Brijesh Pandey, IAS, Chief Electoral Officer, Tripura and Secretary to the Government of Tripura, has been relieved from the charge of the Revenue Department, including Relief, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management, with effect from the date Dr. Ramteke takes over.

Similarly, Shri Abhishek Singh, IAS, Secretary to the Government of Tripura, has been relieved from the charge of the Urban Development Department from the same date. In another key change, Shri Raval Hamendra Kumar, IAS, Special Secretary to the Government of Tripura, who was holding independent charge of the Education (School & Higher) Department along with additional charge of CEO, TTAADC, has been relieved from the charge of the Education (School) Department.
