Hindu monk Chinmay Krishna Das framed in murder case after the sedition case against him falls through

The depth of perfidy to which the Bangladeshi ‘Momin’ government and the ‘Kangaroo’ judicial system can stoop to wreak vengeance on Hindu minorities was proved drastically in the district and session court in the port town of Chittagong on last Monday. Hindu monk Chinmay Krishna who had been languishing in jail since November 2023 on the false and cooked up charge of sedition is now being framed in the murder case of a ‘Momin’ advocate Saiful Islam Alif who was lynched to death in the premises of Chittagong court by fellow-‘Momins’ in November 2024 because of mistaken identity . The ‘Momins’ including lawyers present in the court to oppose granting of bail to monk Chinmoy Krishan by shouting and intimidating the judge mistook the fellow ‘Momin’ lawyer Saiful Islam Alif for a Hindu and lynched him to death , true to their character.

But now after more than a year Chinmay Krishna is being framed in the case of same-side murder as per order of the district and session judge on January 19 simply because the incestuous structure of the Executive and ‘Kangaroo’ judiciary in Bangladeshi ‘Momin’ land have joined hands to teach Chinmay Krishna or , inter alia , the Hindus for raising their voice against persecution . Hindu monk Chinmay Krishna is now to be prosecuted for murder along with 38 others in the willfully manufactured case even though at the time when the lynching took place he was in the dock of the court under police and judicial custody.

This barbaric state of affairs had commenced in November 2024 when monk Chinmay Krishna had organized two peaceful but heavily attended rallies of Hindus in Chittagong and Rangpur to peacefully protest the systematic persecution of Hindus under the interim regime following the ouster of the previous Awami League government headed by prime minister Sheikh Hasina on August 5 2024. The initial charge against him was that his supporters had raised the Hindu ‘Sanatan Jote’s flag over the national flag by the road side in Chittagong . But the man who had made the fabricated charge , a former corporator of BNP, was promptly expelled by his party. But Chinmay Krishna was denied bail on several occasions so that another false charge could be cooked up against him by the administration to keep him custody as long as possible and , if possible, to have him murdered in custody.

But the case based on provenly false allegation dragged on and Chinmay Krishna was kept in custody and continues to languish in jail as the judiciary including the ‘Momin’ lawyers throng courts in hundreds to oppose granting of bail and the fellow-‘Momin’ judges easily oblige. The Hindu lawyers who appear for Chinmay Krishna are always threatened not to appear. “The illegitimate government perhaps wants Chinmay Prabhdu to die in jail custody or spend his entire life-time in jail because he dared to try to organize the hapless Hindu minorities ; this accursed territory of Bangladesh has become a killing field for all of us but we will keep on fighting peacefully against oppression” said a Hindu leader from Bangladesh.
