Security Forces Achieve Major Breakthrough at Agartala Railway Station, Two Youths Held with Pistol and Narcotic Syrup

Security forces achieved a major success at Agartala Railway Station after arresting two youths and seizing a pistol along with several bottles of narcotic cough syrup during a search operation on board the Rani Kamalabati Express.
According to sources, security agencies had intensified surveillance at the railway station following specific intelligence inputs. Acting on the tip-off, security personnel closely monitored the movement of passengers as the Rani Kamalabati Express was approaching Agartala station. During the operation, the suspicious behavior of two youths drew the attention of the security team, prompting an immediate interception and search.
Upon thorough checking, a pistol and multiple bottles of intoxicating cough syrup were recovered from their possession. The arrested youths were taken into custody for further questioning.
Police officials stated that interrogation is underway to ascertain the identity of the accused, the source of the firearm and narcotic substances, and their intended destination. Investigators are also probing whether a larger criminal or drug trafficking network is involved in the incident.
