Young house-wife’s dead body recovered by police in half-burnt condition under Srinagar police station

In a horrifying incident a team of police personnel from Srinagar police station recovered the half burnt dead body of a young house-wife from a rubber garden . The body of the half burnt woman, supposedly in the age between 25-30, is yet to be unidentified . Police sources said that the body had been recovered from a rubber garden owned by Ranjit Saha in Kalitilla area under the Srinagar police station .

Sources said that early in the morning Ranjit Saha , the owner of the rubber garden, had informed the police station that a dead body had been lying in his garden. After receiving the information police personnel rushed to the spot and recovered the corpse of the half-burnt woman. While the identification of the body was not possible immediately but sources said that the woman might have been raped and dumped in the rubber garden and set ablaze. However, investigation into the case is on and the truth will emerge soon, sources added.
