Tripura researcher obtains fellowship in leading US university for research

Tripura’s leading researcher Dr Priyatosh Nath has obtained a fully paid prestigious research fellow-ship in the Lousiana state university in the United States of America (USA). He was granted a two-year fellowship of Rs 1.45 crores in Indian currency for research on Onco Immunology Therapy of the neck and brain . He is now engaged in the research work in the Feist Wheeler Cancer Centre attached to the university.

Dr Priyatosh Nath did his research in human physiology from the Tripura Central University (TCU)in the year 2023 under the supervision of professor Debasish Maity as guide. He Was conferred the research fellowship in the Lousiana state university last year and has already made considerable progress in his research work on Leukemia and Onco Immunology. Dr Priyatosh Nath is the youngest son of Paresh Natrh and Jaya Nath, residents of Chandrapur Ashram road area of Dharma Nagar. Recently he has spoken to his family members and informed them of his success in advancing his research which has already been appreciated by scholars of USA.
